Originally from Tuscaloosa, AL, Dr. Julia Anna Ezell earned her biology degree from the University of Georgia (yes, she survived the SEC rivalry) before going on to receive her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Auburn University in 2016. She now lives in Mountain Brook, AL, and serves as a full-time associate at Birmingham Animal Hospital and Resort.
Dr. Ezell has always felt a deep calling to provide pets and their people with comfort during life’s most difficult moments. That passion led her to join Compassionate Crossings, where she offers peaceful, compassionate end-of-life care through in-home euthanasia.
Newly married to her husband, Taylor, she’s still learning how to answer to her new last name and happily juggling life with their blended crew of three cats and two dogs (all very aware they run the household). When she’s not working, Julia Anna loves reading thrillers and romcoms, traveling any chance she gets, and spending time with her big, lively family—she’s the youngest of seven siblings, so yes, she’s used to being outnumbered.
