Originally from Decatur, AL, Dr. Kitty Gray is a proud triple-threat Auburn Tiger, having earned both her undergraduate and graduate degrees—and finally her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine—from Auburn University in 2022. After a two-year stint practicing in Charlotte, NC, she made her way back to Alabama and now calls Mountain Brook home, along with her husband, their brand new baby boy, and a lively mix of four-legged roommates.
Dr. Gray is a passionate advocate for high-quality palliative and end-of-life care and currently serves the Birmingham area as a relief veterinarian. She is a Level 3 Fear Free Certified Professional, which means she’s basically the spa director of the vet world—minus the cucumber water, but definitely with the calming vibes. Her clinical interests include feline medicine (cats love her and the feeling is mutual), preventative care, and dermatology.
When she’s not caring for patients, Dr. Gray is a certified yoga instructor who enjoys practicing and teaching yoga. She also loves cooking, catching live music, and spending time with family and friends. Her household is kept delightfully chaotic by her two cats, Carlos and Sister, and her senior dogs, Luke and Jojo Blinky, who fully believe they are in charge.
