Lydia Wade, D.V.M.

Originally from Helena, AL, Dr. Lydia Wade graduated from UAB with a major in biology and a minor in chemistry before completing her Master's in Public Health (Industrial Hygiene). She then received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Auburn University in 2014. Dr. Wade still works primarily out of her clinic in Homewood but seized the opportunity to extend her passion for animals and desire to better assist families at their homes by joining us at Compassionate Crossings. Dr. Lydia Wade recently completed her training with the CAETA (Companion Animal Euthanasia Training Academy) to become a Certified Peaceful Euthanasia Professional. When she's not spoiling her two cats and two dogs at home, she enjoys traveling, gardening, and admits she could get lost in a plant store for hours.
