Olivia Swader, Director of Client Care and Operations
Olivia Swader serves as our Director of Client Care and Operations and is the steady, compassionate presence helping guide both our families and our team. She has been with Compassionate Crossings for nearly two years, beginning as a Client Care Concierge and growing into the trusted right-hand behind our daily operations.
Born in Georgia and raised in Hoover, Alabama, Olivia graduated from Spain Park High School before earning her Bachelor of Science in Comparative Psychology from the University of South Alabama in 2019—yes, that really did include studying everything from hermit crabs to dolphins. After college, she returned to Birmingham to be closer to family and now lives in Hoover with her husband, Alex, their two black Labrador Retrievers, and two cats.
With over six years of experience as a veterinary technician at practices including Birmingham Animal Hospital & Resort and Rocky Ridge Animal Clinic, Olivia is a Fear Free Certified Professional with special interests in behavior, hospice, and end-of-life care. She is currently working toward her LVT licensure.
Olivia joined Compassionate Crossings because she believes pets deserve dignity, comfort, and familiar surroundings on their final day. She takes great pride in supporting families through difficult moments, ensuring every detail is handled with care—including personally closing the loop by returning memorial items to our pet families. In her free time, Olivia enjoys traveling, exploring, and spending time with friends and family. We are incredibly grateful to have her leading our client care and operations with calm, compassion, and heart.
