Meet Our Team

KC Bright, MSW, LICSW

Bringing quite possibly the biggest heart and personality of our team, KC earned her Bachelor's in Psychology from Tennessee before completing her Master's in Social Work from the University of Alabama. KC is a long-time friend of the staff and was one of Compassionate Crossings first clients when her beloved Bijou needed our services. Ever since then, KC has sought opportunities to help us grow and better serve clients in any way she can. As a licensed clinical social worker, KC has extensive experience with grief and loss for approximately 20 years and has called Birmingham home since 2009. When KC isn't working, she enjoys showering her Sphynx, Rita, with affection, spending time with family, trying out new restaurants/experiences, and all things true crime.
