Lindsay Floyd, D.V.M.

Dr. Lindsay Floyd is the Founder and CEO of Compassionate Crossings. A native of Hoover, AL, she graduated from Hoover High School in 1999 and received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Auburn University in 2007. She completed an internship in Medicine and Surgery in Greensboro, NC, before moving to Charleston, SC, where she lived and practiced for four years. Dr. Floyd returned to Hoover in 2012 and settled in Bluff Park with her partner, Ross, their three dogs, and one cat.

In addition to running her practice in Lincoln, AL, since 2015, Dr. Floyd serves as the Chairperson of the Alabama Veterinary Professional Wellness Program (AVPWP), is on the Board of Directors for the Alabama Veterinary Medical Foundation (ALVMF), and is a member of the International Association for Animal Hospice and Palliative Care (IAAHPC). She has special interests in surgery and exotic mammals, which has earned her a dedicated following of tiny, furry creatures at her clinic. When not immersed in veterinary work, she enjoys gardening and traveling.
